Making a BRIDGE

There is an old saying “A journey of a million Ks begin’s with a single step.” So I will take that step today.
It is a funny thing(as many have said before me) that we have such a thing as a “Blog” and that it has become so popular. And really good!, I feel, that it can give Us (humans) a chance to better develop some understanding of each other. This I believe is imperative if we are to ever have PEACE in this World.
I live in a small country(New Zealand) but we do not feel inconsequential in our individual self’s. As a “small” nation we have shown the our voice does count, perhaps much to the superpowers dismay (the banning of nuclear powered vessels).
We have lead the way on several important issues, such as being the first country to give Woman the vote.
We are the first country to see the sun everyday, so that could have helped.

Now I don’t know if anyone will read this but if someone does I would like you to, make a comment, send an email, or some how reach out and make contact with someone from another country, religions or culture that you have little or no knowledge of.

I hope that in this way we can break down some of the barriers between different races, coultures and religions. Or at the least I may get a chance to meet some new friends.
